I published my first book today. After two years in the making, a book I started whilst hypomanic. I’ve actually buckled down whilst in recovery mode and completed it. Two more in the series to go.
I’m incredibly proud of myself.
Now the anxiety kicks in whilst I wait for people to read it and tell me what they think.
I can’t believe that I’ve got as far as 40,000 words. 6 months ago I was stuck at 15,000.
I’m hoping to finish the last few chapters off this month but I’ve got a bit of writers block. Which is so frustrating.
Clearly my muse is enjoying the good weather a little too much!
For the first time in a long time, I’m heading back to the homeland (10 years) and I’m taking Little Duck too. She is very excited that she is going on an areoplane. Twice.
We fly out 2 days after her 5th birthday, and spend a night in Toronto. Suggestions for a few hours in T-dot please?! So far we have “get dinner” and “use hotel pool”
Then we fly from Toronto to Cayman. Stay there for 10 days, and then fly home on day 11, again via Toronto.
10 days of nanna and grumpy hugs, swimming, submarine rides, and holding turtles. Catching some rays, eating some delicious island grub and missing daddy SO much.
Little Ducks first Aeroplane ride. I am excited and nervous.
