Ostara Blessings!

Hello Hello…..happy to say I am in a MUCH better mood than when I last posted.

It’s Ostara today. 😀
A wiccan/pagan holiday to celebrate the Spring Equinox. That’s when the day and night are of an equal length…..a time to show that Spring is on it’s way! (or here already in some places….)

Ostara is the virgin Goddess of spring. This holiday concerns the deity’s trip to the underworld, and their struggle to return from the Land of the Dead to Earth. When they accomplish this return, they have a life renewed. It was considered bad luck to wear anything new before Ostara, so the people would work through the winter in secret to make elegant clothes for the Sabbat celebration. The entire community would gather for games, feasting, and religious rituals while showing off their clothing. – sadly I have done nothing but spend….so haven’t really followed tradition….oops.

So happy Ostara!

In other news…..tis my birthday on Monday and I am trés excited! Can’t wait to go out and have some fun. However forgot my camera at home….so hopeefully Daniel will take some pictures of the celebration for me. (for facebook of course..)

Last night we went to the cinema to watch Diary of the Dead. It was hilarious in places and shit scary in others! At one point I screamed really loudly. My favourite character was Samuel the deaf Amish man…. 😀 lolz.
Before that we went to Forbidden Planet and I got lots of birthday idea’s for Daniel. Then we headed on over to wagamama’s and had some absolutley yummy yummy food. 😀

At work today, and have only a team of 3, so it’s going to be really busy. Best get on really.

Tonight is film night with Pizza at Daniels, tomorrow is shopping with Sophie and Tash, Saturday is the birthday drinks, Sunday Daniel is making me a birthday meal, and Monday we are going to my mummy’s as she is making me a birthday meal.
All in all I think it should be a good weekend.

Righty O!

Over and Out!

BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
