Mothers Day

Wishing all the Mothers out there a Happy Mothers Day!

Currently my mother is abroad and where she’s living they don’t have Mothers Day until May.

Mothers Day should always be the second Sunday in May, according to the woman who created it in 1908, Anna Jarvis.

But it’s seems lots of countries celebrate it on different dates.

Norway always celebrates it on the second Sunday in February.

Ireland, the UK and Nigeria celebrate it on the fourth Sunday during Lent.

Most of the world celebrate it on the second Sunday of May.

Argentina celebrates it on the third Sunday of October!

A full list of dates can be found on Wikipedia.

Whichever day you choose to celebrate on, Happy Mothers Day from me in the UK.
